Glory! After winning two out of the last three Yeshiva League Championships, the Rambam Chess Team is looking to return to dominance. Last Wednesday, the esteemed Rambam Chess Team had their first match of the year against DRS. After falling just shy of the trophy last year, the team looks to bounce back, and they look better better than ever. DRS came, and the guys enjoyed pizza before playing their games. In the end, the two teams tied 77.
The Rambam team looks very good, headlined by senior captains Avi Pearlman and Shachar Klein, and underclassman captain Grimm, who won both his games in his first match for Rambam. The team has a very bright future, and we can't wait until our next match in December against Flatbush.
