Last week, Rambam Mesivta students kicked off the school year with an action-packed overnight getaway at Camp Seneca Lake. Upon arrival, students were served lunch before heading out to enjoy Seneca's wide variety of sports facilities and courts, as well as indoor and outdoor swimming. Later in the afternoon, eight teams competed in Rambam's six-on-six volleyball tournament, bringing plenty of energy and competition to the first day.

After dinner, students returned for a late-night barbecue, while the seniors enjoyed a special kumzitz and barbecue down by the lake. The evening continued with a Connect 4 tournament, followed by an intense home run derby. Rambam administrator Avrumy Weinberger took first place, with Yonah Meir finishing a close second. The next morning began with Selichos and davening, followed by breakfast.

The freshmen also had a bonding activity with Dr. Goldman, who challenged them with a puzzle about how people see the world in different ways. Later that morning, students competed in a flag football tournament and continued enjoying the camp's many activities. After two packed days of sports, competitions, and time together, students headed home, bringing another memorable Camp Seneca Lake getaway to a close.
