Retreat Seneca had many sports options available all across campus from soccer and frisbee to pickup basketball games happening almost nonstop with occasional staff appearances, always open tennis and pickleball courts were so popular, that it led to an unscheduled Tennis Tournament. Tennis Captain Mordechai Jedwab was victorious!

The Volleyball Tournament which began an hour after arrival set a tone for the rest of the t r i p w i t h f a s t - p a c e d games. Team Eliyahu Yunaev won the glory and Yunaev, he of the high serve, was named tournament MVP! The annual midnight Home Run Derby and Gold Glove Tournament kept students well awake scores close until the final batter when Etai Kreitner fittingly ended it with a Grand Slam to close out the night.

The next day’s Football Tournament continued the excitement with 8 teams dueling it out, eventually culminating in the Drafters, who trailed by 18 and needed a miracle pass to even winning the title led by 4 seniors in their last go around at the tourney. Congratulations Bernie Wiener on being named Tournament MVP! The whole school thanks Rabbi Yitz MilMr.

Hillel Friedman, and the rest of the administrative team for making this Seneca Getaway such a success! Thank you to Ross as well for hosting us at Seneca!
